Why do we feel nervous during exams?

"A person under stress or anxiety would most of the time experience increase heart rate or also known as tachycardia. This is brought about by stimulation of the sympathetic nervous system causing release of different hormones and activation of different chemical mediators in the body, sending of signals that will increase the heart rate, as well as the contractility of the heart. In this example, neural signaling pathways are mediated by neurotransmitters acetylcholine and norepinephrine, which are series of carbons linked in different manners, carry out signals that would activate the pace maker of the heart and eventually increasing the heart rate. Cations sodium and potassium also plays important roles in transmitting signals along nerves and muscles. When heart muscles are then stimulated by the pace maker, different electrical and chemical reaction occurs, along with the drive coming from different enzyme proteins, which provides energy for the muscle contraction and clearance of waste that is produced by each reaction. Complex interactions among different substrates and enzymes, along with chemical mediators, receptor proteins and pathways ensure that the heart will have what it needs to pump vigorously and at the same time clear the metabolic waste from different reactions, to be able to meet the demand of our body to ensure its survival in a stressful event. Failure to do so, for example with inadequate substrates such as oxygen or glucose, may result to cardiac muscle damage or death."

Ayun. Tapos nung pagbalik from ATC. Nung pagwelcome ng GenUp. Hinahanap kita nun kasi ibibigay ko yung chocolate. Kaso nung may kasama ka na, nahiya naman ako. Na-appreciate ko din yung effort mo na pinaparamdam mo palagi sakin na may kasama ako. I mean, yung times na pinapatabi mo ko sa'yo. Kinakausap mo. Entertaining me. It was something I did not expect from you.

It was also great na nag-oopen ka sakin. Kainis yung bata. Ang likot likot. Napuputol tuloy usapan natin. Haha. Pero masaya rin ako. Kasi maybe kung wala yung batang yun, we would not have the courage to talk to each other. Tska na-feel ko yung gusto kong ma-feel sa pagkakaroon ng older and younger brother The feelings na never ko naramdaman sa mga kapatid ko, isa ka sa nagpaparamdam sakin nun kaya sobrang masaya ako.

Sana dumating yung time na makapag-open up ka pa sakin lalo I really feel trusted kapag ganun e. And at the same time, I want to have someone who I can rely on. Alam mo yun, no one knows the true me yet. Yung alam lahat. Wala pang ganun. Some, they just wanna listen then it's over. Pero ikaw, you inspire and encourage me. You're one of the many that makes my faith stronger. And I'd rather have friends or people around me that are like that rather than those who would ruin my life.

I'm sorry if I always disturb you. Irritate you and more. I know you don't have to tell me if you're already feeling that way cause I know I have to be sensitive. But it really makes sense to me na ndi naman din dapat ako mag-assume. So don't be afraid to tell me. Mataray ako. Masungit. Pero I choose the people na ginaganon ko. And for you, I like that I've shown you that "kulit" side of me. It's like having an older brother or someone special to share your attitudes with. Mga taong fully accepted ka for who you are and will not be judged without even knowing who you truly are.

It is unbelievable that I've been close to this church already even though I've just attended for 5 months. But God is so good that He had given me this opportunity to share His goodness to all of you. In advance, I thank you all for listening to me even though I'm not a great speaker.

I am a believer. I believe that God exists. But I was regretful and I always questioned the Lord of why He had given me such problems. But I have changed after this church made me realize that everything that God gave me is a blessing.

Like a regular high school student, I was preparing for college way back 2-3 months ago. We were not rich so my mom always told me "You'd have to stop if you wouldn't acquire any scholarship for college." I know it was not a threat. So I focused on getting at least one.

I already passed entrance exams so all I have to worry now is to have a scholarship. Eventually, Dec. 18, 2010, I got a passing score from a college entrance exam. They offered me a 50% scholarship. Okay. I was already satisfied. I thought "This is it. This is what God gave me." I was contented.

January 4, 2011. The results of a high-respected university also informed me that I have passed. But I was not eager to know that anymore. It was too expensive and I don't have any government scholarship to support that school. But then, my mother pursued me to apply for one. Two days before the deadline for the passing of requirements for the scholarship called SFA, I failed to complete it. I told my mom "Maybe God doesn't really want me for this. Maybe that's why He's giving me a hard time." But my Mom insisted and said "The harder you work for it, the more it'll be granted."

I have no choice. She's the mom. So I just have to follow. Eventually, the school informed me that I passed the first screening and I am for an interview the next month. Reaching that level made my parents' expectations higher so I had to do well. But I was confident. I didn't know why. But once again, I failed myself. The Dean told me to tell her about myself. And I did. It was only then when my mother told me to recall to the Dean that I have realized that I have not shared about my achievements. I know it. I was gonna fail.

But I had my faith. The people from this church cheered me and prayed for me. I couldn't sleep for two weeks but God always give me signs and tells me "All is well." And finally, I was accepted.I was shocked and overwhelmed and happy and everything. It was a hundred percent scholarship plus allowance from St. La Salle Finance Assistance or SFA. Yes, because of God, I am proud to say, I am a La Sallian. It was all because of God. God had given me not only what I want but He gave me what is best for me. And it is the same for all of us. We just have to believe in Him. That He wants the best for us or if we really do want something, we must declare it in His name. I know people here can prove that. Sometimes, you only want that laptop. Just then, after believing, God gave you even what's more than what you wished for. HE could have given you an iPad. God is good to all of us. Sometimes, we could have just overlooked at it and that's maybe the reason that we couldn't recognize it.

Luke 12:22 Then He said to His disciples, “Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat; nor about the body, what you will put on."

Let us not worry for God is always here beside us. He died for us and He has a plan for us. We need not to worry of our responsibilities or our goals. We just need to do them but not to worry.

A final word. A phrase I've learned from my university. "Let Jesus live in our hearts. Not always. But Forever." Thank you!

Rapture Signs: As In The Days Of Noah, Aliens, Nephilim & Fallen Angels

As I began to explore this subject, I typed into Google the subject of UFO sightings and was surprised to find an amazing amount of information on sightings and encounters of UFO’s in the sky. There is a new drama on television named, The V. Aliens from another planet come in large spaceships to interact with the people. In the story they seem benevolent at first but they have a hidden agenda to take over our planet.

The subject of aliens from outer space seems to be very popular with Hollywood and there are others who think that the possibility of a visit of life from another planet is not only possible but probable in the years to come. Indeed, some people think they may be already here in disguise. There are many claims of people who have said they have seen UFO’s and also interacted with the aliens in them.

Some people believe they are all flights of fancy and there are some who believe whole heartedly that these ‘beings’ are real and ready to come and enlighten us.

Are these stories real or are they just the imagination of a few who want attention in some way or another? In my opinion, some of these sightings are very real because some come from seemingly credible people, but I don’t think they are life from another planet. Instead, I suggest they are demonic fallen angels. Why?

There are some verses in the Bible that seem to suggest that something like this has happened before.

The Bible tells us of a time just before the flood where strange things were happening on the earth. When God created man and women, they were created perfect in every way. But something happened that caused God to grieve what happen to mankind.

Genesis 6:4 The Nephilim were on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God went to the daughters of men and had children by them. They were the heroes of old, men of renown.

Who are these Nephilim that were on the earth? In verse 2 of Genesis, it says that: the sons of God saw that the daughters of men were beautiful, and they married any of them they chose. It’s possible that sons of God were the angels that had followed Lucifer when in his pride he rebelled against God and was banished from Heaven. They were created as angels with certain powers that we do not have. They are demons and they interacted with mankind and produced another race of hybrid people called, Nephilim. The children born were like giants and they were more powerful and very wicked in their thinking and actions. In the story of David and Goliath we are told that Goliath was over nine feet tall. In I Samuel 17:4 it says that when the Israelite spies went into the land of Canaan they reported that giants were in the land. Deuteronomy 1:22-28.

Does this sound familiar? A race of aliens coming down from somewhere up above to take over the world sounds like the plot of this new television show that is playing right now on televisions all over the United States and perhaps beyond. Is it possible that people are seeing these demonic beings appearing as spaceships and aliens? Don’t you wonder why there are so many variations of what people see? These fallen angels have powers we don’t have and no doubt can appear in any shape they want to and deceive those who might see them.

You might ask; why is this important? The next few verses in Genesis tell us about the great wickedness that was on the earth at that time. It was the reason that God’s heart was broken and the reason for the Flood.

Genesis 6: 5-7 The Lord saw how great man’s wickedness on the earth had become and that every inclination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil all the time. 6. The Lord was grieved that he had made man on the earth, and his heart was filled with pain. 7. So the Lord said, “I will wipe mankind, whom I have created, from the face of the earth.

It was because this new race of people was corrupt, ungodly, demonic, & evil. The blood line had been compromised.

It is interesting that in the gospels that when Jesus talks about the Second coming of the Lord he says it will be like in the days of Noah.

Luke 17: 26 Just as it was in the days of Noah, so also will it be in the days of the Son of Man. People were eating, drinking, marrying and being given in marriage up to the day Noah entered the ark then the flood came….

Could it be that all the sightings of aliens and spaceships of today are somehow connected with what happened in the days of Noah? Could it be that these fallen angels are coming back again to try and interact with the people of earth to once again corrupt mankind with their wicked, evil ways and to try and convince us that they will ‘save’ the world.

In Luke 21 11b Jesus tells us, “there will be great earthquakes, famines and pestilences in various places, and fearful events and great signs from heaven. In Matthew 24 4, “Jesus answered: Watch out that no one deceives you.”

Let us be very careful that we follow what the Lord has taught us about His Second Coming.

Luke 17:22_24

Then he said to his disciples, “The time is coming when you will long to see one of the days of the Son of Man, but you will not see it. v23, Men will tell you, ‘There he is!” ‘Here he is! Do not go running off after them. v24 For the Son Man in his day will be like the lightning, which flashes and lights up the sky from one end to the other.

In other words, when He comes all the world will know at once because his coming will be so spectacular we couldn’t possibly miss it.

So do not be taken in by forces who say they come from above and are here to ‘save’ the world. Jesus tells us to not be taken in by them but to trust in Him as the one and only Savior of the world and that He has already come, first to save and then at an appointed time to come again to rule the world.

Luke 17:20 & 21

Once, having been asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, Jesus replied, “The kingdom of God does not come with your careful observations, v21 nor will people say, ‘Here it is,’ or There it is,’ because the kingdom of God is within you.

In other words, He has already come and He will come again just as He promised, not in a spaceship but in a cloud and on a white horse and the armies of heaven will be following Him. Revelations: 19: 11-16

[Breaking news] "An airplane has crashed. Over 47 young boys died, we are still searching for survivors... This is a tragedy we will never forget, this plane was flight 1-80... it was on its way to an all boys boarding school..." the Reporter says.[ She turns off the t.v. ... 3 days later, she kills herself, because of the fact that Ricardo was dead & she had nothing to live for... ]

... A day after that the phone rings. Nobody answers. It was Ricardo, he called to leave a message. "Its Ricardo, I guess you're not home so, I called to let you know that I'm alive, I missed my flight because I had to see you one last time. So, I hope your not worried. I am staying for good. :'(
